GOLD ALPHA AWARDS WINNERS


Alfa de Oro to the company PAMESA, S.A., received its award for opening up new areas of application for ceramic tiles by using them as heat accumulators in room temperature regulation systems.	Alfa de Oro to the company VIDRES, S.A., received its award for achieving iridescent colour hues adapted to current ceramic tile manufacturing processes.

Golden Alfa to the company COLORES CERÁMICOS, S.A., received its award for developing environmentally friendly water based tints that can be used with digital décor application systems.	Golden Alfa to the company MACER, S.A., for developing an integrated system to control the pressing operation that enables the apparent density to be kept constant and ensures that gilded tiles are all of the same weight.

SPECIAL GOLD ALPHA AWARD

The Spanish Tiies and Glass Societygii/es a Special GOLDALPHAAWARD to QUALICER forits contribution to the tiling industry with its biannual international Conferences.

SILVER ALFA AWARDS

Alfa de Plata (SilverAlfa) awards went to:

ARGENTA, S.A., for a new line of porcelain tiles with an aventurine look glaze designed to reflect the essence Of traditional ceramic tiles.

MOSAVIT S.A., for producing dry-pressed vítreous mosaic tiles with relief décor and different aesthetic finishes that are resistant to the firing process.

NATUCER S.A., for its Life ARQ series which enables extruded ceramic to be used as a three-dimensional architectural element on facades, walls and other space dividers.
